Diary of a Mad Painter

::The Artwork of Michele E. Fusco::

The Ancient Galleries...

Welcome!...to my breakdown...
Alice Cooper Painting 'A Rose For Emily'.

As Diary of a Mad Painter lives up to it's name, I have now entered a new insane creative phase of my artwork: an exploration of a darker nature (I mean more than usual...), including new Marilyn Manson art, and further interpretations of Black Metal icon Dani Filth.

My continuing forays into the Strange Case of Alice Cooper are of course still available for viewing here as well.

So I hope you will enjoy my presentation of photo-realistic artwork of these rock artists and legends as much as I have enjoyed creating it...

"I treated Art as the supreme reality and life as a mere mode of fiction". ~ Oscar Wilde

All of my artwork is traditional, or tangible; that is to say, created by hand without the aid of any computer programs or enhancements of any kind; this is old-fashioned, handmade work, with hundreds of hours in each piece...there is more info about the artwork available at the various Galleries.

Latest Works::

May 2010: "Personal Demons", Marilyn Manson, 11" x 14", Mixed Media on Artboard.
Marilyn Manson painting 'Personal Demons'.

Serious introspection of the tortured artists...this painting represents alot of struggle and turmoil to me personally, and I am overall pretty satisfied with the end result... for more details about this evil multimedia experiment, click here [explicit content].

As well as this new Marilyn Manson project, I also have added two new paintings of Alice Cooper, The Eighth Gate and Circus Diabolique.

Upcoming Projects...

Expect the unexpected!

I am currently pursuing portrayals and interpretations of both Dani Filth and Marilyn Manson, and most likely will continue with Alice Cooper and Jim Morrison art from time to time as well. So along with this, and taking care of some special orders now and then, I keep pretty busy... Basically I really never know what I'm going to be drawing next until I'm actually working on it.

I will add my latest projects here as they are completed, so please stay tuned, or join my mailing list and you'll receive updates when I've added new work to the site...

In the meantime, thanks for visiting and don't forget to sign my Guestbook before you leave!
