Diary of a Mad Painter

The Ancient Galleries...

Welcome!...to my breakdown...
Alice Cooper Painting 'A Rose For Emily'.

I have finally and permanently merged my art display sites together. Here you can find galleries of my Jim Morrison interpretations, Alice Cooper portraits, and Marilyn Manson art, as well as some illustrations I've done in tribute to the unforgettable Michael Jackson. In addition, I have recently begun exploration of a much darker nature with extreme works of Black Metal icon Dani Filth.

I hope you will enjoy my presentation of photo-realistic artwork of these rock legends as much as I have enjoyed creating it...

"I treated Art as the supreme reality and life as a mere mode of fiction". ~ Oscar Wilde

All of my artwork is traditional, or tangible; that is to say, created by hand without the aid of any computer programs or enhancements of any kind; this is old-fashioned, handmade work, with hundreds of hours in each piece...there is more info about the artwork available at the various Galleries.

Latest Work::

July 2009: "Something Wicked", Alice Cooper, 11" x 14", Mixed Media on Artboard.
Alice Cooper painting 'Something Wicked'.

I had been trying to get this project out for years. Lost in the abandoned, haunted carnival Years Ago, Steven and the Showmaster and all of them, ride the enchanted carousel horse to hell and back because that's where they most wanted to go... For more details about this artwork, click here.

The original of this painting is not available for sale, as I am holding onto it to display at a show in 2010. For more about ordering art and stuff, go here, or feel free to contact me directly.

Upcoming Projects...

Expect the unexpected!

I am currently pursuing portrayals and interpretations of both Dani Filth and Marilyn Manson, and most likely will continue with Jim Morrison art as well. So along with getting a few experimental projects together based on some of my favorite Johnny Depp characters (but where's the rum gone?), I keep pretty busy. I also have some ideas for tributes to the late, great Michael Jackson. Basically I really never know what I'm going to be drawing next until I'm working on it. So please stay tuned, or join my mailing list and you'll receive updates when I've added new work to the site...

In the meantime, thanks for visiting and don't forget to sign my Guestbook before you leave!
