The "Constrictor Redux"… Okay here's the deal on this one.

"Constrictor" and "Raise Your Fist & Yell" were pretty much my first Cooper albums (yes, I'm a second generation fan). Well when I got Constrictor, I thought the cover concept was so cool...but the execution totally sucked! I mean you know what I'm talking about - it looked so hokey, with the snake all cut out and superimposed across his face, and all together way too much red and blue coloring... it's like, oh yeah, that looks real...! It seemed a shame that such a cool idea had been done so lamely, so I redid their concept, as a colored pencil/pastel drawing, and this is the result. If you get out your Constrictor album and compare the doctored-photo cover to my drawing, you can see there's no contest. That concept really needed an artist's touch.

This original drawing is 11" x 14" and was sold long ago.
