"The Beauty of the Beast"…

8x10 mixed media drawing on white artboard. Dani's nose- and lip-rings have real metallic foil and iridescent paint.

His features were drawn with a combination of ink, colored pencil, acrylic, and chalk pastel.

The biggest challenge in creating this project was keeping the rest of the paper so clean. It was worth it though; the effect of the "eyes without a face" all on pure white turned out really eerie and somehow sexy…
