I've titled this colored pencil/pastel portrait "Gone Too Soon"… the
appropriateness of the lines from the MJ song are painfully obvious:

Like a perfect flower
That is just beyond your reach
Gone too soon…

Born to amuse, to inspire, to delight
Here one day
Gone one night…

Like a sunset
Dying with the rising of the moon

The portrait itself is 8 in. x 10 in., and I've fitted it with a custom-detailed mat with weeping angels at the corners, so the finished piece is 11x14. If you'd like more information about this artwork, please contact me.
